Dear Friends,

Greeting this New Year 2012, I see a brightness ahead for all who seek brightness, balance and beauty in their choices for their life.

* Brightness calls for accepting brilliance of a crystal clear mind, a radiant heart of love, and a body filled with energy and well-being.

* Balance calls for a life embracing faith, hope and charity, a spirit peaceful and secure, a destiny of sharing and service.

* Beauty calls for respect, protection, and celebration of all the beautiful gifts we are surrounded with each day from the world of nature, music, foods, animals, children, poetry, thoughts, sounds, fragrance, words.

In this New Year 2012: abundance will increase dramatically; a new president will be elected; new information about space and beyond will astound us; new inventions will save lives and create hope for a better future; new co-operations among nations will increase our chances for lasting peace on earth; and new awareness for the rights of children and women all over the world will bring wellness and support for this long neglected area of need.

This is my interpretation, prayer and wish for the New Year.

To live mystically, make a decision today to reach out and direct changes in your life to create a lifestyle you can love. So often you can get caught up in living from a super-ego where you live a destiny based upon what others want, need and expect from you. Than you may make decisions from fear and take actions from anger.

Amber Angels, according to ancient Hebrew tradition are called: "Fiery Word Beings". What could be said about these angels of fire? Your fire angels do not come lightly into your destiny. When these angels appear, they bring heaven's calling to jump start your energy and to create new passions, new desires and new intellectual power for your life.

Among the archangels, Uriel is the Angel Of Fire. Uriel is the representation of Divine Spirit and a symbol of transformation. Uriel actually means, "fire of God". So look to Archangel Uriel as a symbol for truth, energy and transformation. Become your own "fiery word being" and speak about the truths in your life.

Is there some cause close to your heart that you feel passionately about? Today is the perfect day to share that passion. Talk may be "cheap" but when you talk about what actions you think needs to happen to bring about positive and supportive change - then your "talk" can be priceless in helping others. Stand up for yourself, your belief, your dreams, your feelings. Take the "talking stick" and express the energy you know comes as a gift from Great Spirit.

I am creating a "green" consciousness this week and so can you. Green is the color of the heart chakra, the color of abundance, new beginnings and prosperity. We need a new vision for both the global and the national and local economies. We can help do this by having an awareness that we are all responsible for changing the world and our personal visions from one of lack, decay, and delay to growth, communication, and release.

Think green, breathe in the color green, surround yourself in green; green stones, green foods, green apparel. Broadcast out into the world the energy of green: bright green, emerald green, spring green, forest green, cactus green, orchid green, any green you love to think of.

To live a mystical life means to live intuitively, inspirationally, and insightfully knowing your destiny, your life purpose and your pathway of greatest joy.

So much is happening all around us as the month of May comes to a close with Spring's wonderful cycle ending and our earth moving into the summer months. We have been living since the new year in a time of challenging renewal, abundant new growth, and earth changes of world-wide magnitude.

Spring skies brought increased sun shine but also violent storms reminding us of the dichotomy of all earth cycles. Some times the extra daylight lifts our spirits and tugs at our desires to be outdoors. But then again floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, and fires bring extreme hardships for us to cope with.

In the mainstream world, we also see an extraordinary push for political and financial revolution; for throwing out the old, for trying to find the new in our belief systems, and for finding our way of living which will work for us.

Did you know you can use the dynamic revolutions of this cycle to explore your own life areas of change and growth? Understanding your spiritual connections now increases your chances of being in alignment with your spirit when you make decisions for your destiny and your future.

Live the mystical life. Live in the eternal now, the power of the moment, let Great Spirit be your supply, and know that now is the appointed time for your amazing good fortune. Be intuitive, be insightful, be inspired.

THE POWER OF BROADCASTING LOVE

Dear Friends,

In the midst of so much tragedy in Japan, I find it hard to grasp that one people could suffer so extensively from such extremes of natural disasters. A couple weeks ago I had an intuitive warning that shocking world news would happen on March 9th. When the date came and went, I thought the intuitive message wrong. Well the earth must have begun the changes of energy on the 9th. which led to the extraordinary events of March 11, 2011. (Once again we have the numbers 11/11 having a particular message of mega shifts in the collective consciousness of humankind.).

After the earthquakes, tsunami, fires, and atomic explosions in Japan - when I saw so much devastation, I questioned even the notion of a personal God. I would ask, "Is there really a being to pray to or to ask for help from for rescue or for safety and for shelter. But then I remembered in my own life when struggles for life itself were beyond belief, I had to immediately quit the doubts of Divine Intelligence, drop all fear, judgement and anger. I had to choose to stay alive, to survive. For me, I had to live in the moment seeing all as energy and information and refuse any state of being other than love. In the moment regardless of the circumstances, I had all the answers I needed. Then, coming from love, I intuitively knew what to do, where to be and how to respond to life threatening situations at hand.

In spite of the words above, I do know, to experience Great Spirit and love as the answer to all questions when you are desperate for food, water, clothing, shelter, and freedom from pain seems impossible to ask of anyone ... and maybe it is ... this is why I truly believe we must broadcast the energy of love for and to all those living terrified in this moment of incredible pain and fear.

When we broadcast the power of love to everyone including those who are in Japan rescuing, bringing food, water, shelter, medicine, care and whatever else is so desperately needed, everyone can feel the energy of love coming from us. This will give all the courage and strength to survive and to choose to take their lives back into wholeness, back into love, back into the light.

You can broadcast the power of love to others, to the land, to the people, to the rescue in Japan simply by first agreeing to do so. Stay in the moment, then close your eyes and in the quiet of your own peace see the energy of love like a strong cord of golden light reach out from your soul. See the golden light of love beaming to Great Spirit. Then picture legions and legions of angels emanating from the love of Divine Presence going forward over all Japan. These angels coming from the love of Great Spirit will turn all happenings to the benefit, safety, peace and love of all people of Japan, for those from other lands and for us included.

You are loved. You are blessed. You are loving.

FOLLOWING YOUR PATHWAY OF GREATEST JOY

DEAR FRIENDS,

Sometimes in the middle of winter, I hear myself giving my spirit those little messages of self-doubt that can take a huge toll. Am I really doing what I am suppose to be doing? Is what I do my real purpose in life? How do I know my life is going in the direction best for living my true destiny?

Once a few years ago, as I experienced being at a crossroads, I discussed my indecisiveness with a friend. He wisely gave me an unexpected answer with a question: "Which choice would take you on your pathway of greatest joy?" Well of course in answering this question, I quickly knew what choice I would make and which direction I would take. I would choose a totally creative life style with a spiritual mission as my destiny.

Following my pathway of greatest joy is such a wonderful way of living. It is spontaneous, serendipitous, and highly creative. Sometimes it means learning from difficult mistakes and sometimes I get tired and discouraged along the way and sometimes I just get plain bored and lonely. Overall though I always come back to the original mission of living in the moment, insightfully, intuitively and inspirationally. All this with the adventure of spreading light, love and joy in the image and likeness of a Divine Presence being as prolific as possible as a writer, artist, designer, publisher and producer (all my favorite things to do) and hence my pathway of greatest joy.

I like the affirmation, "My angels of destiny lead me on my pathway of greatest joy and I follow."

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to make a little announcement to everyone that I am now an official minister as Reverend Amber Silverstar. This makes me legal so I can do house blessings, weddings, wellness visits, and address any other spiritual concerns. But mostly I can start a non-profit called Amber Angel Ministries and look for a place to begin the Destiny Bright Center For Joy.

The main reason for AMBER ANGEL MINISTRIES will be to raise money as a non-profit to distribute around the world our pocket sized gift books called LOVE AFFIRMATIONS. We also are looking forward to creating a spiritual place called Destiny Bright Center For Joy which will be all inclusive of race, creed, color, sexual orientations, belief systems and life partner commitments.

The center will be a place for celebrations, consultations, creativity, and media services. The Destiny Bright Center For Joy will continue to support and promote the Destiny Bright Lifestyle mission to spread "light, love, and joy throughout the Universe living a mystical life in a mainstream world."

Dear Friends,

Bright Bunny Baby comes wishing all of you a wonderful Spring Celebration! Make this your time for new thoughts, new ideas, new friendships, new community, new choices then relax and enjoy your new found courage for living your destiny.

I will be at the coastal areas of the South Bay here in Southern California. I plan to do some shopping and see Alice in Wonderland then come home to color Easter Eggs and make Cinnamon Buns for tomorrow morning. My husband and I will spend the day in San Juan Capistrano at the mission where we plan a photo shoot for a book we are working on. This historic area is about 50 miles from Pasadena where we live.

The year is only three weeks old and already there seems so much to think about:

1) The prospects of a New Year - what is the current vision for my destiny? What areas in my life need a review, a redo, or a let go?

2) Who in my life needs more sensitivity from me for what's going on in their lives?

3) How does what is going on in the world of politics, environment, social networking, causes, entertainment, arts, literature etc. make an impression on my own mind, body, heart, spirit, and soul, ? How much of this do I let in, filter out, and respond to?

4) What are the creative goals which are so important to my destiny?

5) What kind of a routine, schedule, eating and work-out plan would be the most balanced in my life?

So, I am sure you "get the picture." If there are areas in your destiny that you would like to see change, or improve, or even leave out altogether - call me and we can have a "talk over".

HOW ANGELS INSPIRE US TO WRITE

Writing as a way of communicating with the Divine Beings Of Light, called angels, is an honored and ancient tradition.

Angles, who have inspired humans to talk to them and about them through writing, are famous and numerous. ANGELS ON A DAILY BASIS

Angels are such a special species of beings, they transcend all nationalities, cultures, even time and space. These beloved creatures are considered to be messengers of God, Divine Spirit, Universal Intelligence or Great Spirit.

There are even times when those who struggle with the concepts of religious beliefs or have no religious beliefs at all find themselves in the company of their guardian angels
during times of grief, danger or sadness.

Pumpkin Bright Pumpkin

We are just a couple of days away from being the Halloween celebration time. I created this pumpkin image, a photograph by my husband Steven Olson, as a design on several products from Zazzle.com for DESTINY BRIGHT DESIGNS ... AMBER SILVERSTAR CREATIONS.

We actually live not too far from one of our favorite places to go called Calabasas which means pumpkin in Spanish. This is a beautiful community just North of Malibu with perfect California weather, gorgeous rolling green hills and the smell of ocean breezes coming through the many lush canyons. Flowers, trees and bushes are always in bloom year around. Lots of celebrities live in this gated community and others like it near by. They have a huge PUMPKIN celebration every year which we try to go to.

Halloween - Time To Face The Demons And Become An Earth Angel

The monster disguises, the ghost energies, and the demon stories roar forward into our midst every October when Autumn sunsets bring the night skies early and the chill of cooler days remind us of a winter soon approaching. We call this event "Halloween." This all sounds fun, romantic, and adventurous. But lately not for me ... a few years ago I started not liking "All Hallows Eve" or Halloween. It seemed the greater the spiritual work I did, the scarier the pumpkin celebrations got - including: more intense horror films, more gory and dark costumes, and "trick or treat" episodes holding more danger.

This year I decided to change my attitude and see Halloween as an opportunity to face my own demons. I decided to let the ghost come forward and see what I needed to review in my own life. "Just what might be haunting me?" - I asked myself. Maybe negative emotions are coming up from the past. Or perhaps there are ghost energies I am hanging onto out of my own fear and mistrusts. I certainly know through spiritual experiences that holding onto the fears of the future or the anger from the past can really turn my well being into dreaded monsters. These monster emotions and thoughts are then empowered to intrude upon and into my life's pathway into the light.

So now I am going to use this Halloween to review what ghost I need to let go of, what monsters I need to meet with courage, and what demons I can transform into an angelic self. Then Halloween can become an opportunity for change and choice - a time for reflections into the future of the winter months to come.

Do you think Angels and Spirit Beings really exist? I really see a lot of TV shows even movies about the forces of dark and light? What do you think? Are there vampires.

Dear C.,

You have just asked some questions for which other people, many people are seeking answers. I can only share with you what is my own experience, knowledge, and awareness. In the end as with any questions about life, you must find your own way, insights and beliefs.

For me, what I call other dimensional beings do exist. Sometimes I see them in an earthly form. Sometimes I see them in dreams or in visions. And sometimes I sense their presence. Since my experience is that all things are energy and information - I am most concerned with what or who the energy is and what message or information is available for me to learn from. Labels are just labels. If I can keep from judgement and fear, I usually can find out quickly what the message or information is so that the dimensional being can quickly leave and then I am free to move forward with my life.

All things are either seeking information/energy or giving information/energy. The art of living is knowing which is which and choosing what or who to be a part of. It is my knowledge that angels, spirit guides, loved ones who have departed, saints, elders, avatars, fairies, ascended beings, prophets, and healers always come into your life to give you light, joy, love, beauty, strength, balance, truth, peace and information to help you grow and become a better person. On the other hand - toxic ghost, hungry vampires, evil power junkies, polluted priest-craft, and possessed personalities come into your life to seek your energy by creating confusion, disease, addiction, depression, darkness, anger, rage, pain, hate and destruction.

This topic is a very complex subject. But I hope I have been of some help. Do your own research, take some classes, go to various lectures, listen to your intuitive self. Ask for guidance. I will have more on this subject on my new website call Starworld22 at http://www.starworld22.com.

Hello Everyone,

I am really happy to announce the launch for my new book: BRIGHT NATURE OF BEAUTY - pictures and poetry for your spirit. You are invited to check out this wonderful coffee table book full of gorgeous pictures of nature along with original and inspirational poetry. The beautiful photography is done by my creative husband, Steven Olson. The book is published by Lulu Studio in association with Silverstar Media Group, Los Angeles, California.

For over two years we traveled the Southern California coast line - from Santa Barbara to Oceanside, the valleys from Pasadena to Thousand Oaks, and the cities from Los Angeles to Palm Springs - just weekend drives to capture the wonder and the beauty of the nature of Southern California.

Then it took another year and several prototypes to create the look and combination of photography and pictures I felt portrays the vision I to showcase a book inspired by nature. I am always having this recurring dream. In the dream, I see someone outside my window and then a shadow outside in a hallway. Then a tree and loud noises. Why do I keep having the same dream and what does it mean?

Dear Friend,

When a person keeps dreaming the same dreams or variations of the same dream, it can mean either he or she are having some strong unresolved emotional conflicts - most likely anger and most likely from their childhood.

The dream is positive in some ways because it is telling you that you are strong enough now to learn from this dream and to grow from it.

Ask for a new dream which will give you more information. Write your questions on a piece of paper and place it under your pillow. Say the affirmation: "I now see and understand clearly the messages in my dreams."

Without more information and talking to you in person, I would say the dream could mean someone or something strongly influenced your life to the point of overshadowing your own personal growth and light. You may need to check your current relationships and see if you could create new clarity and harmony in your boundaries and energy exchanges.

If you need further help, I would suggest a hypnotherapist or person who specializes in dream interpretation. They could assist you in further understanding the sub conscious world of your dreams.

The Love and Genius Of Michael Jackson

Dear Readers,

The day Michael Jackson died - I wrote a response which posted on my other blog - today I watched this incredible memorial to him - I still have so many mixed emotions and find it tragic that he either did not get the help he needed when he was alive or he refused it. This is assuming of course that he died from the effects of drugs on his body. I am sure if he were alive now he would say - "Throw away all the pills, the drugs, the mask - a lost childhood is no excuse to die and to leave three children without a father - I wish I could start over" Maybe it is some consolation that even though Michael Jackson is no longer on this earth -his love and genius will be with us forever. But why Michael, why?

HERE IS A REPRINTING OF THE BLOG
FROM THE DAY MICHAEL JACKSON DIED

Living in the Los Angeles - Hollywood area, yesterday will loom in my mind for a very long time. I had just finished a consultation for a client when I turned on the television to find out what people were saying about Farrah Fawcett and her tragic and untimely death.

I thought I heard an announcer on CNN say something about Michael Jackson's father and cardiac arrest. I naturally assumed the Jackson father had a heart attack. Then as I took time to listen more carefully - I realized the news was about Michael Jackson himself.

At that moment I knew he had died. I could hear the helicopters whirling in the sky traveling toward the area of Westwood and Bel Air. I watched countless police officers on television put up yellow tape all around the UCLA hospital. I switched to the local channels knowing they would know sooner than anyone what was going on. Then the confirmed announcement -Michael Jackson was dead. Then like people all over Los Angeles - I cried. Here, now dead at fifty, was this brilliant star. A life begun as a little boy genius now dead as a grown man ... damaged by a traumatic childhood - I do believe Michael Jackson never really recovered from the childhood scars and in the end was destroyed by his painful past.

At least this is how I see it. But I also see that stars are energy and energy can never really be destroyed - and neither can the incredible genius of Michael Jackson's music from boyhood to manhood. Even though the harmony he brought to the world was the same harmony he could never seem to bring into his own life.

In retrospect, I hope the message of Michael's death will be how important it is to treasure each moment of a child's life. How important it is to support and protect a child's creativity. How important it is at any age to intervene when choices to escape pain lead to the abuses of a lifestyle which can only end in the tragedy of confusion and death.

I might go over to Hollywood this weekend to photograph these moments in history as people go to the star on the sidewalk to touch a remembrance of the energy, the harmony, and the genius of Michael Jackson.

Surely the SERAPHIM, the angels of music, and Archangel Michael (his namesake) have taken him to heaven to meet his God, where at last he will have the clarity, balance, and love he always searched for. May he enjoy peace in the "other world" as he gave so much enjoyment to us in this world.

NOTES FROM AMBER ...
Happy Summer Everyone! News just in, I have been ask to create a design for apparel to be worn on a regular television series which will feature Dr. Susan Padrad, president and founder of Balanced Life Institute. The show will include nutritional cooking segments and the host and guest will be wearing aprons and shirts with a Destiny Bright Design. I have yet to create this new image but I am working on it now and ready to see it done.

Also, speaking of television - Steven and I will be sporting the BRIGHT NATURE OF BEAUTY exotic hibiscus flower on shirts when we go to Phoenix, Arizona this summer to be on the Antiques Road Show. I will let you know when the show date airs.

THE PRESIDENT SPEAKS TRUTH

DEAR FRIENDS,

As we celebrate the Memorial Day Holiday, it is a really good time to remember what the United States of America is all about ... the freedoms, the respect for life, the joy of choosing one's destiny. When I think of the USA, I do not think torture of another human being under any circumstances is a right that I or any other American can claim.

Growing up in the Mid West, I very clearly remember the study in history classes about World War II and how millions of people deemed undesirable were tortured and killed. I would say to myself how proud I was living in a country where people would never torture other people for any reason. Living in a democracy, I thought, meant respecting the humanity of all people regardless of who they were or what they had done.

When I got older, I actually got involved in the prison movement, in the criminal justice system and in promoting humane treatment of all institutionalized persons. This included day care centers for children, nursing homes for the elderly, mental health facilities for the unfortunate, even abandoned children and adults with disabilities. Through this experience, I can tell you - people are tortured by others right here in the United States. People who think they are justified in using any means to get to the end results - they claim "it is for the best."

Torture is never, never a justifiable means!

To learn more about what goes on in your country - visit your prisons or jails, go to your local nursing homes or mental health facilities or find out how children are being treated in the foster care system of your state. Then you might understand how the former Vice-President Dick Chaney justifies torture and gets away with it. He has a lot of company. However, justification by many does not make torture of even one person right. If you still have doubts - study Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Einstein, Mother Teresa, and so many others who champion justice, freedom, and love for all humanity.

President Obama really keeps "talking truth" in his speeches about the evils of living in a democracy like the United States and at the same time allowing torture to exist as our way of "protecting our country." We cannot protect ourselves from evil by being the very instrument of evil - any where - in our homes, in our institutions, in our prisons, in our schools, in our churches and justifying the use of torture, beatings, cruel and humiliating actions as a way of controlling other human beings.

I once read, "Beware those for whom you make life not worth living."

Please whenever you have the chance - take the time to be the change you wish to see. Let the only instruments you use and agree to when you are in charge of another human being - be the instruments of peace, love and compassion.

Dear Amber,

I worry all the time about my love life, my kids, my job, ... even when things are going well - I still seem to obsess with how everything will turn out.

Why do I do this and what can I do about the constant worry?

Dear John,

Constant worry can be a really serious problem even manifesting health issues, ruining relationships and can lead to depression.

It can also be a drama you are creating in order to cover up the real pain of something traumatic which happened to you in your childhood.

You may need to talk to a health or spiritual professional to help you go within your soul-self and see what might be troubling you. I might also recommend hypnotherapy.

Constant worry can come too from a need to be perfect. It is an old message that unless you are perfect, you do not have the right to exist.

What ever the cause, I suggest first of all that you bring yourself into the moment and know that all is well in your world. Try the affirmation: "I live in the eternal now, the power of the moment. All is well in my world. I love and accept my self just the way I am."

A second suggestion is knowing there are several wonderful self-help books out there which deal with living in the now. Take yourself to your local book store and spend time browsing and see what book talks to you. Then buy it, take it home and keep it by your bedside. When you are finished - try the process again. Before long you will have a whole stack of "bedside friends" with words of wisdom just when you need them.

The third suggestion is to keep a daily journal of your worries and the fears behind them. And again find a trusted person you can talk to about your childhood. Get your worries out of the dark recesses of your mind and into the light where you can see them as they are - mostly illusions.

I hope these suggestions help. Remember: to come from love, light, joy and beauty. Let Great Spirit be your supply for faith and abundance.

CIRCLE REFLECTIONS OF EARTH

Dear Friends,

This Earth Day is such a fun day, a love day, a bright day because all the world over people are coming together to cherish our earth. We are the destiny keepers of the planet earth ... the only one of its' kind in our solar system.

What I enjoy about this day is learning about all the wonderful ways to live green. Long before it became a popular main stream thing to do, I wrote an article about what I called "autonomous living" which is now called "sustainable living." The article explored housing that was totally independent - it had recyclable water, solar and wind energy, earth rammed construction, garden roofs, and all natural materials for the inside and outside furnishings and decor.

The biggest difficulty at the time was getting insurance, loans, building and zoning permits and a disconnect from the central city grids for electricity, gas, water - etc. I am not sure what the majority of city governments would require now. Since I live in Los Angeles County, attitudes toward sustainable living may vary considerably from town to town.

My ideal space for a green life style today is in the high desert in a straw bale house with all the latest organic, earth friendly, Eco designed living. It is on the wish list ... meantime my company DESTINY BRIGHT LIFESTYLES promotes "save the planet" by offering organic wearables, natural accessories, decor and household items. Plus - through DESTINY BRIGHT DESIGNS with Edun featured on Zazzle.com, I have designs on T-shirts which provide healthy and life saving jobs for African villages and African villagers.

Earth Day is a reminder that saving our planet is a huge responsibility. But guess what - we can do it and we are doing it. I love Spring so much - the difficulties of Winter seem to fade into the past as the brilliance of color, sun, and newness speaks of life beginning today. I call this exciting time the gift of EMERGENCE.

What newness do you see emerging in your destiny today? Is it love, creativity, the tree in your front yard with fresh green leaves? Are you aware of new ideas, new relationships, new creativity sprouting up in your imagination, your heart, your spirit? This is such a wonderful time to allow the ANGEL OF EMERGENCE to be your "change agent". Make a new promise today to start receiving the power, energy and beauty of Spring.

In a few days will come the joy of celebrating the Easter days of resurrection, of forgiveness, of radiance. I have this wonderful affirmation which I say to realize the incredible power of emergence surrounding me. I suggest as the Spring Days continue to enfold that you include this affirmation into your daily routine.

Being part Irish myself and having green eyes - I have a strong affinity for celebrating the green on St.Patrick's day tomorrow. I say "This is a great time to go for the green."

Being green conscious is actually good for the heart too. Green is the color for self-esteem, creating new ideas, calling-up for the abundance of life, for feeling joyful. Surround yourself with the energy of green as you notice the "wearing of the green." Breath deeply the beauty of the Emerald Island. Embrace the power of green energy.

Think green tea, green trees, green emeralds, green foods, green orchids, green velvet, green glitter, little green men (Elves), sink deeply into the green of Spring. THE MAGIC RED ROSE

Dear Friends,

Happy Valentine's Day in the month of February.

I know many of you are deep in cold, snow and ice but here in Southern California the roses are always blooming. Just like magic! So I am sharing a rose with you in a new store front I created called, what else, THE MAGIC RED ROSE.

This beautiful image from nature is an original photograph by my husband, Steven Olson for our design company called DESTINY BRIGHT DESIGNS. We were so taken with this picture because besides it's beauty, it reminds us of the famous image and logo with the red tongue for the Rolling Stones Band. The image has not been manipulated in any way but still we captured this moment in "rose land" with a petal looking like a tongue with a large dew drop.

I think the dew drop on the rose is a message that we always have what we need including nourishment. That is if we can trust Great Spirit to be our supply and our support.

Anyway what we focus on expands and I suggest we focus on the abundance around us and fill our lives with love. This is the real magic. Then, before we know it, Spring comes again and with it the renewals of earth, water and sky.

NEW YEARS THEME 2009 AND ROSE PARADE IN CALIFORNIA

Dear Friends,

It is New Year's Eve and here in Pasadena, California where I live only one block from the parade route of the famous Parade Of Roses; there are thousands of people already lining the streets with their parade watching gear.

The New Year's Eve revelers will shout the night away, light their campfires, drink, eat, play cards, dance in the street and endlessly look for Porto Potties. Large families rope off large areas, set up tent canopies, place folding chairs and buffet tables for tons of food and then religiously guard their parade site until nine o'clock tomorrow morning. Then the military jets and the Stealth Bomber do a fly over after which the PARADE OF ROSES begins. It is all great fun and worth the extra effort to accommodate so many people. It is a very exciting and beautiful experience; especially for the little ones.

In reality though I have taken quiet time to set themes for MY DESTINY this New Year 2009 and my birthday the day after and it goes like this:
*Giving and sharing of gifts, talents along with time and energy
*Focusing on completion and priorities
*Balancing creativity, family, relationships, abundance and learning
*Connecting in a networking way including all types of media
*Growing evermore spiritually and emotionally

WHY USE AFFIRMATIONS?

Dear Friends,

With the election over - what next? It may be time to use what is commonly known as "The Affirmation." Why? Whenever there are tremendous changes going on requiring lots of decisions to be made, a good place to start is by reviewing what basically is the overall vision. Once the vision is chosen then affirming that vision into the new reality becomes an important step. Think of an affirmation as a positive statement of purpose which firms up or energizes the vision.

The recent democratic vision for the election offered creating change in the White House for a better America by electing Barack Obama. The affirmation for that vision was "Yes we can." The affirmation became a reality and Obama got elected. Now, what change exactly do we envision for the new presidency to lead us into a new era and what affirmation do we need to support the change?

I saw Oprah the day after the election wearing a T-shirt which said, "Hope Won" - great affirmation but what exactly is that hope? And what do we want the winning to mean? Good questions? I know from personal experiences over and over again that affirmations work! But I also know it is very important to have a clear understanding of what it is exactly that I am trying to affirm.

Since the election I have started to ask myself what is the vision for my own future and for the future of the country and even the world? I decided to make that vision a balanced, healthy, and prosperous life and to give this vision a foundation of the power of love ... "Love is now victorious for all people in this situation. We are all victorious in building a world of balance, health, prosperity and love. Yes, we are a healthy,loving,and prosperous people of the world."

I invite you to try the above affirmations with me by affirming the victory of the power of love for yourself, for the presidency, for the country, the banks, the stock market, the health care profession, the Senate, House of Congress, the military, the United Nations ... well you get the idea I am sure.

YOUR POLITICAL CHOICES

Dear Friends,

Part of living a DESTINY BRIGHT LIFESTYLE or any responsible livestyle is staying involved in the political process being informed and active. So ...

Tomorrow I am going to vote in an election that has been a grueling contest of who will do the most, who will spend the most, and who will promise the most in a presidential fight for the White House. Never before have I changed my mind so many times and never before have the political issues changed so often in such a short time.

This presidential race started out supposedly about the war in Iraq. Then it changed to be about domestic issues from immigration, health insurance, to homeland security, to education. From there it jumped to fuel, energy and the global warming crises as the cost of fuel skyrocketed out of sight. Then if this wasn't enough, the housing crises, stock market crash, and bank failures put the financial welfare of the country up front as the major political arena for the final rounds of the election playoffs.

Through it all, I saw some candidates behave rather badly, some acted stupefied and others offered solutions which as president they simply could not have had the power to carry out. I still think Hillary Clinton overall responded to the constantly changing issues with the best overall plans and programs. But, she did not get chosen as the Democratic nominee.

For me, Barack Obama has a tendency to hesitate and then be vague; always trying to cover his trail! McCain's "maverick" actions and attitude have no place in running a major world government even though it might be "street wise."

I do think in the end, Obama has a brilliant mind and he will surround himself with other intelligent, experienced and winning people. This way he can make demanding decisions in a timely manner and with specific solutions.

So, I am hoping and expecting the best. Obama winning seems to be destined. We will soon know. Happy voting!

Halloween - Time To Face The Demons And Become An Earth Angel

Dear Friends,

The monster disguises, the ghost energies, and the demon stories roar forward into our midst every October. This happens of course when Autumn sunsets bring the night skies early and the chill of cooler days remind us of a winter soon approaching. We call this event "Halloween."

This all sounds fun, romantic, and adventurous. But lately not so for me ... a few years ago I started not liking "All Hallows Eve" or Halloween. It seemed the greater the spiritual work I did, the scarier the pumpkin celebrations got - including: more intense horror films, more gory and dark costumes, and "trick or treat" episodes holding more danger.

This year I decided to change my attitude and see Halloween as an opportunity to face my own demons. I decided to let the ghost come forward and see what I needed to review in my own life. "Just what might be haunting me?" - I asked myself. Maybe negative emotions are coming up from the past. Or perhaps there are ghost energies I am hanging onto out of my own fear and mistrusts.

I certainly know through spiritual experiences that holding onto the fears of the future or the anger from the past can really turn my well being into dreaded monsters. These monster emotions and thoughts are then empowered to intrude upon and into my life's pathway into the light.

So now I am going to use this Halloween to review what ghost I need to let go of, what monsters I need to meet with courage, and what demons I can transform into an angelic self. Then Halloween can become an opportunity for change and choice - a time for reflections into the future of the winter months to come.

Within your mind's perception is the Spirit's eye towards the life plan you were born to create. Within your mind is also the picturing power to focus on change as a new way to create your future destiny.

When you connect change with your spirituality and your life plan, than change becomes an opportunity for a "heavenly transformation."

This begins with a new vision in the perceptions of your mind. Your thoughts plus your perceptions go out into the world and bring back to you the exact form of what you have transmitted into the universe. SAGAN ON MY MIND

Dear Friends,

Today, I had the famous scientist, astronomer, Carl Sagan on my mind. I recently had a dream about him talking on the subject of the possibilities of extra terrestials. It could be that soon we will discover some evidence linking human life from our Earth to the planet Mars. I like to follow this speculation about the existence of intelligent life in any area of outer space.

I live very close to the world famous Griffith Observatory which sets high on a hill top over looking the whole Los Angeles area with views of the the vast Pacific Ocean. Every time I go there to visit, even though the observatory is filled with incredible exhibits, the planetarium, and special shows, I somehow just want to stand out on the walled verandas and contemplate what someone like Carl Sagan must have thought as he dedicated his lifetime to looking into the mysteries of the Universe.

The Carl Sagan web site is a wonderful way to see how this amazing man loved the exploration of space so much. The web site is called The Carl Sagan Portal and can be found at http://www.carlsagan.com.

The images in this blog is a picture of the first stamp commemorating the Russian spacecraft Sputnik and another stamp showing a space ship of extra terrestials. This world of space exploration is just so rich in history, promise, adventure, creativity, and scientific study. I never run out of enthusiasm in discovering new information or learning about what has already been discovered. But Carl Sagan, his work and his legacy has become an unforgetable experience in my own earth travels and maybe someday a chance to travel in a dimension beyond my current reality.

LIGHT BEINGS
There are those who say,"Yes, I believe in angels, angels are a part of my everyday life." Others will claim,"Angels are just mythological creatures." Some people have actual encounters with angels but never thought prior to those encounters that angels existed. lastly, there are those wondering souls who look to the skies professing, "Angels are not for real."

Wherever you are on the spectrum of angelic experiences or beliefs, I would like you to know - angels are for real and they are serious business. Angels come directly from Spirit to inspire, to forewarn, to protect, to guide, to assist, to defend and to direct. In reality, angels participate in our lives in infinite and unlimited ways.

Angels are also light beings who are given to us by Divine Intelligence to be those special messengers of love, hope and understanding. In my own angelic experiences, these light beings resonate to different vibrations of color, so when attuning to color and coming from Divine Spirit, angels will appear to you when you need them. In addition to color, angels can arrive in an opalescent aura of the rainbow or present themselves in golden emanations of energy.

Some people ask, "Where do angels come from?" Angels only come from a true, loving, spiritual and Divine Source. Perhaps you call this source God. Whatever name you choose to give the Divine Presence, it emanates as love through you in the form of angels. They are your light beings: angels of guardianship, angels of light, angels of love, angels of guidance and angels of protection.

In fact, so many angels are available to us that we are told in the Bible of legions of angels - one hundred thousand times a thousand - an infinite number of angels. Angels are available everywhere, all the time, to everyone. All we have to do is ask. The loving Christ figure says, "Ask and you shall receive."

In my own life, several times in the past twenty years, I have been personally visited by angels. During one visitation, I fought for my life through a near death experience, when an angel of gold surrounded by golden lights came into my room. This golden being brought me into a tunnel of light where I met three other angels. Then I learned all the angels had names; Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel and the angel of gold, Michael the Archangel.

All four angels brought new feelings to me of a purpose plus a oneness in my life. Through their appearances, I experienced being loved and protected instead of fearful and alone. Because of their visit, I now have a point of reference that my work needs to be finished before I finally go to my ascended home. The angels also revealed to me just how wonderful that home is while at the same time they left my body filled with a beautiful sense of peace.

A short time after this near death experience, I fully recovered my health. Then I took time to review the meaning of the angelic visitation; I even started sharing angelic communications with other people. I wanted to give the messages of hope and peace I had received and am still receiving from the LIGHT BEINGS, my own guardian angels.

Today, I am an angelic counselor, especially in the areas of angelic healing. Through my work, I constantly see the importance of understanding the angel messengers, using the angelic guidance, and transforming our lives in accordance with Divine Spirit. I love sharing this incredible world of celestial wonders - our Light Beings from heaven.

THE MEANING OF INTENSITY

"Live your destiny with the intensity of your soul
and your dreams with the beauty of your spirit."

Dear Friends,
Intensity is one of those terms which means many things to many people and perhaps always a matter of degree. What may be an intense experience for one might be just a passing moment for another.

Someone once said to me, "You are so intense. You guard your freedom to be yourself more than anything else. You get stronger from pain. You even choose your independence over love." At first I thought these remarks to be criticisms of the way I led my life. But than I began to see the statements were and still are true. Being intense makes me sensitive to the light and the darkness; a chance to explore my destiny to the fullest each and every moment.

I encourage you to live your destiny with the intensity of your soul and your dreams with the beauty of your spirit. Right now we are in the midst of several intense situations; extreme weather, political challenges, financial uncertainty, and personal unrest. It is as though our very American lifestyle is in a major crises.

However, I think if we can embrace the intensity with the intention of learning, we can make new choices and lots of changes. Intensity is energy deeply felt! Let's take this energy and make it work for us. We can use these intense experiences to realize the power to learn, to move forward, and to create a destiny of balance, beauty and peace.

THE DESTINY DREAM

Dear Friends,

Are you searching for your destiny, the life purpose you dream of? You can find that destiny by using some very simple tools* and by agreeing to search for and follow your life purpose. The Native Americans call this process the Vision Quest, I call this process The Destiny Dream. It is always the right time to know, live and share your destiny. You can begin today.

This is a story of a young woman who found her own destiny and her true love in her search for her life purpose. See if you can find the important tools she used and the steps she took to make her dreams happen and her life real.

A Destiny Dream Keeper:
One day, a young woman started to wonder if she had a destiny and what her destiny could be. She realized she needed to find the answers to her questions so she could set her life in the right direction. She began by saying a strong affirmation, "I know my destiny and I live it."

After a few weeks of this affirmation, a picture formed within her mind's eye. She had a vision of a small village of homes, a town of colorful store fronts, and a beautiful setting of mountains and trees with friendly people everywhere. She recalled seeing this place a few years ago in Colorado on a skiing trip. The woman was intrigued and asked for guidance to come in her dreams. She also meditated and prayed for more information. She said a new affirmation, "My angels of destiny lead me on my pathway of light and I follow."

Before long, a dream came to her and she saw herself standing in the center of a small store. The store had wonderful art and books and clothes showing the beauty of the area. When she walked outside she saw her own name on the front of the store. The dream led the woman to thinking her destiny could be owning a small store. The store would sell the items she saw in the dream.

Soon after these new insights, she met an artist. She told the artist her thoughts about her destiny. Eventually the two fell in love. They began to see their life's purpose would be a move to the beautiful, scenic town in Colorado. Shortly, after their marriage, they did indeed move to the place of their destination. They opened a store with the young woman's ideas and the artist's pictures displayed on all the items she had seen in the dream.

They made it their destiny to share their love of each other and the beauty of the Colorado area to everyone who came to their store. Like all destiny searches, there were obstacles and challenges along the way. But the woman and her love found the courage to follow the dream, live their life's purpose and make their Destiny Dream come true.

*If you think you are searching for your Destiny Dream; try these few simple tools.

1. Declare your intent to know your destiny and live your life's purpose.
2. Release your doubts and negative thinking - let the magic of the Universe work in your favor. Surround your Destiny Dream with positive emotions and thoughts.
3. Read inspirational books, ask for guidance from your higher spiritual self, and most of all, listen to that "still small voice within."
4. Incubate a dream, or a vision of the destiny you are meant to live.

STAYING POSITIVE AROUND NEGATIVE PEOPLE

Dear Friends,

Creating a successful life purpose to include building a destiny you love requires the realistic actions, thoughts and words of staying positive. This sounds easy but can be very difficult when your life is surrounded by what seems to be negative people and negative experiences. I find when negativity starts showing up on my "canvas of life" that I need to take the time to use one or more tools to change the direction of my destiny and stay on the pathway of light which I have chosen. Here are several workable suggestions. These suggestions will assist you in staying positive, healthy and successful while navigating through the sometimes rough waters of negative challenges.

1. Remember to surround yourself everyday with the white light of positive forces and spiritual connections. I usually do this by saying affirmations, lighting yellow or white candles and using lemons as aromatherapy as well as color reminders of wisdom, hope, and cleansing.

2. The next suggestions is a little more difficult as you must turn the focus inward to see what might be negative within your own spirit. What negativity might you be holding onto or forgetting to transform into a positive emotion or thought which has clarity, love and joy? Using a prayer of forgiveness is a wonderful tool to chase away negative clouds which may be hanging over your destiny. Try: "I forgive everyone, everything, past, present, or future. I forgive, I forgive, I forgive. There are no bonds holding me to this negative experience. I am free, I am free, I am free."

3. If the above actions are having less than the results you are looking for and the negative situations are continuing for more than seventy two hours, seek professional help for a reflection you might be overlooking, or ask for a solution in your dreams, or you might pose a question and seek the answers through automatic writing or during meditations.

These are the remedies which I have found to be most successful in staying positive in situations, environments, or relationships which are consistently developing into negative challenges. I hope the above solutions work well for you.

2008- SIMPLE CHANGES CAN BRING DRAMATIC RESULTS

Dear Readers,

It is the New Year - the year of 2008. It is a great year to begin again, only this time the beginnings are with the experiences of lessons learned from the previous nine years. Why? Because ten is the number of one the second time around: 2008 is two plus eight or ten. Ten is also the power number for multiplying abundance. It is the number you think of when you talk about the quality of someone or something being a perfect "10".

You can use this information together with simple changes to realize dramatic results for a great 2008.
How?

1. Write a list of areas in your life where you think you have made major accomplishments in the past nine years. Rate those accomplishments on a scale of one to ten.

2. Review your list and ask yourself how you can multiply the success of those areas to the power of ten. Just doing an affirmation like, "I love my destiny" with your intention of increasing the goodness of the past nine years will start you on the path of a great 2008.

3. Make a list of areas in your life where you think you did not achieve the success that you had hoped for in the past nine years. Again, rate those areas on a scale of one to ten. The lowest being the area of least success.

4. Review your list and ask yourself if you would like to begin again. If the answer is "Yes" then create a new "destiny plan". How? Start a journal where you can write each day about how your new beginnings are expanding and growing. Write about your intention to creatively focus on the results you are hoping to see. Keep a list of ten positive things you can do to make the new beginnings a true success.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT POETRY

Dear Friends,

Recently while working on a collection of poems, I began to realize how important poetry is in our lives even if we are among those who say: "I don't like poetry. I never read poetry. I can't write poetry. I don't understand poetry." In spite of these assertions, I see poetry coming into our lives right from the beginning and staying there, coming and going, until the very end.

At birth, we receive greetings and gifts mostly accompanied by little rhymes and poetic sayings from family and friends to celebrate our arrival. In addition, in our early years we are read to and sung to from a variety of poetry. Latter we experience poetry in children's movies and videos, coloring books, learning books, and sometimes even in games.

Then, as we enter the world of "school", poetry "gets to us" through music, street and play ground talk, games, notes from friends, comic books, exposure to Shakespeare, and even movies which use poetry to socialize and entertain. At this age we may also notice poetry on bus signs, billboards, birthday cards, in congratulations, in jokes. Just everywhere we are, especially today in the midst of pop culture, we are surrounded by a variety of rhyming rap music, lyrical commercials and streams of media which all weave poetic reflections in and out of our lives.

As we mature, there are poetic wedding vows, more songs, music, and movies. There are also the never ending speeches of politicians, talks by movie stars on talk shows and the influence of powerful executives who quote poetry as part of their desire to impress and to "win us over." At this stage in our life, we may go to plays, museums, poetry slams, operas, dances, yoga, street and art fairs, the mosque, the synagogue, and the church where with a little awareness we notice that all of these include poetic reflections, written verses, lyrical speeches and poetic music. This epic through poetry continues during our life even though as adults we may never pick up a book of poetry or write a poem or read the works of a famous poet. The poetry is always there working into our consciousness and staying in our bank of memories.

When the time comes for us to leave this world there is a very good chance that someone we love and someone who loves us will be there to read, quote, or sing in poetic verse the last words meant to honor our leaving this universe.

Poets, as artist painting in words, have been known to change the world and because of their profound poetic thoughts, have been in some cases tortured, imprisoned, rejected, banned, even killed. It is also true that the power of rhymes, songs and stories are often catalyst for political, social, and religious revolutions. Poets in all cultures are praised, admired, cherished, and honored because their words haunt our psyche and touch the very core of our being with love, anger, fear, peace, joy, rage, happiness, pain and sorrow.

I hope you will take these few words as inspiration to find the poetic reflections in your own life. Give your words merit by recording them so others can see, read and remember ... in some way we are all the poets of our own destiny.

FIERY WORD BEINGS

CELESTIAL HELPERS

Amber Angels, according to ancient Hebrew tradition are called: "Fiery Word Beings". What could be said about these angels of fire? Your fire angels do not come lightly into your destiny. When these angels appear, they bring heaven's calling to jump start your energy and to create new passions, new desires and new intellectual power for your life.

Among the archangels, Uriel is the Angel Of Fire. Uriel is the representation of Divine Spirit and a symbol of transformation. Uriel actually means, "fire of God". So look to Archangel Uriel as a symbol for truth, energy and transformation. Become your own "fiery word being" and speak about the truths in your life.

Is there some cause close to your heart that you feel passionately about? Today is the perfect day to share that passion. Talk may be "cheap" but when you talk about what actions you think needs to happen to bring about positive and supportive change - then your "talk" can be priceless in helping others. Stand up for yourself, your belief, your dreams, your feelings. Take the "talking stick" and express the energy you know comes as a gift from Great Spirit.

"I now speak the words of positive support and love for the truths in my world that I know and I believe in. I am inspired by the fire of energy and transformation to be the center of love for myself and others."

POWER, PASSION, PERMISSION - THE ART OF JOURNALING

To journal is one of the easiest yet most profound ways to recognize what you think, feel, desire and know and with this knowledge change your life. To journal is this unique act of expressing your passion, recognizing your power and giving yourself permission to be the whole and perfect person you are destined to be.

I once read even though angels have been known to inspire writers, they leave the actual writing to us. When you pick up a book with blank pages, think of yourself being connected to the heavenly forces above and the intuitive voice within and then give words to your imagination, your dreams, and your experiences. You will quickly learn, "The art of journaling." Before long you will look back and see just how easy it is to create a picture in writing of your inner self.

There are those days when I find it difficult to know what my emotions are revealing and what my feelings are longing to express. As soon as I reach for one of my journals and start writing, I see the reflection of what is really going on inside my spirit and then I make healthy decisions as to how to proceed. This makes my choices for being proactive very important. I stay balanced and my life moves forward. CHOOSING THE MOMENT

Dear Friends,

If you choose to live your life in the "power of the now," you will also be choosing to live your life in balance. The art of this life style which is also the heart of Destiny Bright is to paint the canvas of your life with choices made in the moment.

Choosing the moment springs from the intuitive well of who you are. Exactly how this works is a mystery to me but I do know that in each moment, from the center of your being, your soul self, is where the guidance for your destiny waits.

Choosing the moment does not necessarily mean living for the moment. Living for the moment can be self serving without any regard for lessons learned from the past or needs for insights into the future. True choosing the moment, living in the power of the now, can also mean reviewing the past or even planning for the future. This sounds reasonable but the major question is "How does one do this?"

In all the years in which I have been living intuitively, in the moment, from the center ... I have been using a combination of daily commitments to surround myself with support for building this incredible, creative and loving lifestyle.

These daily commitments include:

1) Affirmations as soon as I wake up, making a spiritual connection for guidance and protection.

2) Writing out what is on my mind and in my heart.

3) Reading whatever I find in other writers that inspires me and keeps me centered.

4) Energizing the mission of my vision quest through visualizing, prayer, and guided imagery.

5) Working out using yoga, relaxation, deep breathing, and music.

6) Sharing and appreciating the gifts of abundance, love, joy, happiness and prosperity.

Living a life using the above commitments is a real challenge and sometimes met with strange and stubborn obstacles, what I call "messengers of change and choice." However, not using these daily commitments to keep me in balance, gradually intrudes upon my quality of life and eventually the power to stay in the now and choose wisely in the moment.
